つり球 (Tsuritama)

… exam time.

Well, I don’t have to take any exams myself (I’m at that point of university where they just let you do whatever 🙂 ), but I am an external examiner for a secondary school exam, which means every May I hole myself up and do nothing but mark some two hundred essays in a race against time (i.e. a non-negotiable deadline). Self-sacrificial fun of sorts.

In other words, I won’t be watching any films. Or reviewing. Or blogging. Or tweeting. Or doing anything really other than marking exams, eating and sleeping. In fact, I’ve removed myself from the temptation-that-is-London and am spending these weeks in a quieter place on the European continent. I will be changing the side bar widget for the Korean Film Nights and I am hoping I will manage to still post the Trailer Weeklies – although I can’t 100% promise. I also have a nearly finished review of キツツキと雨 (Kitsutsuki to Ame/The Woodsman and the Rain, 2012), but it’ll have to wait until I’m through that pile of 195 exams, just like everything else.

It’ll be a bit silent around here for a while, but I promise I’ll be back.

P.S. No reason behind choosing that image for the post other than the fact that I’m tremendously enjoying the anime Tsuritama (which sadly is on hold for me now too).
